I'd just got into SLR photography as well as the first couple of months with the 35-90 lens that came using the Canon Rebel 2000 had been outstanding. I never realised there was SO a lot difference in between a point-and-shoot and an SLR. Following reading p on several of the books about photography, I reaslied an significant point was receiving the right framing and receiving close to the topic. So I set out to look for a price productive zoom lens that would give me that flexibility. I tried the cheeper rip off lens in the loal camera store and discovered their mechanisms stiff and slow focussing. I stuck my neck out for a canon make lens, and this 1 jumped out at me. It is best, the shot are crystal clear, the zoom is smooth plus the autofocus is just as great as with the smaller lens.
